Hi, I'm Helena (the mama behind the mongoose), and this is my family.
I started this business in 2015, six months after I had my oldest kiddo, Emma. Prior to that I was a newspaper editor for six weekly community newspapers who loved writing and using it as a tool to bring people together.
As a mom, I couldn't bear to be away from my little lady, so I started mintMONGOOSE from my house and have been introducing lovely ladies to the NEW way of experiencing jewelry ever since.
These kiddos right here, being their mom, and the lessons I learn along the way inspire more of my jewelry sets than I can count!
Now a mom of 3 with #4 due in March 2023, I'm thrilled to share the sets we have planned!
I'm a 30ish-year-old gal from California, mom of three little ones, wife, dog-mom, cat-mom, jiujitsu-lover, Jesus-freak, and lover of a good belly laugh.

I partner the adventures I go on with my kiddos with customer feedback and requests to create classy pieces perfect for everyday living, the office, or any adventure ahead of you.
These meaningful sets can easily be dressed up, or down, and provide just the right amount of bling for women from all walks of life.
We design, create, wrap, and hand seal (yes -- those awesome wax seals you see on Pinterest) each and every batch of goodies that travels through our doors out to wonderful women across the world!
